My passion for business & leadership comes from following news and trends from a variety of media sources. It gives me the opportunity to put my business & leadership knowledge to work. I have noticed that a lot of businesses are doing it wrong when it comes to being truly in-tune with its customers. The leadership for many businesses have lost the human touch with its employees as well as its customers. How do businesses get back to being more human? It all starts with the leadership. Leadership must truly care about people, period and treat customers and employees with genuine respect.
I pride myself on being genuine and caring with my fellow employees, management, and customers throughout my professional experiences. I have four years of professional experience in the higher education sector, particularly in the residence life & housing department where I managed residential communities and developed resident student leadership programs. I have over three years of professionals experience in the retail telecommunications sector, particularly in sales & customer service. I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly regarding the customer service and employee experience. I am noted as a Client Engagement & Relations Specialist. You can check out my Resume as well as my LinkedIn profile here.
My marketing experiences as a student in the Clemson University Marketing program (where I applied my degree towards local and state student organizations that I was involved with) and as a professional in the Spartanburg (SC) Focus On Leadership leadership class inspired me to pursue my MBA degree at the University of Phoenix, where I strengthened my business & leadership acumen. The MBA program inspired me to put my MBA to work, where I seek to provide insight on how businesses and leaders for businesses can humanize the process regarding its customers as well as its employees.
I have a portfolio of my marketing and MBA work. Check out the MBA @ Work Portfolio, and Marketing @ Work Portfolio tabs in the Business & Leadership section of this website.
