Greetings Emperors and Empresses,
My name is Napoleon Melton, Jr., Founder & Principal of The Napoleon Empire, my platform of passions designed to profoundly impact my community as well as the world via projects of interest.
I am from all over the Upstate of South Carolina. I have lived in Spartanburg, SC, Inman, SC, and currently in Chesnee, SC. I received my Bachelor of Science in Marketing (emphasis in Sport Marketing) from Clemson University in Clemson, SC. I received my Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, where I utilized the university’s learning center in Greenville, SC to aid in the completion of my program.
How did I come up with the name The Napoleon Empire? Numerous people have told me over the years that I have a very powerful name. Most people think of Napoleon Bonaparte when they hear the name Napoleon. Some people think of Napoleon Dynamite, the main character of the movie that bears the same name. Some people even think of Napoleon Ice Cream (even though Neapolitan Ice Cream is the correct name of the composition of the chocolate-vanilla-strawberry flavors). After conducting research on Napoleon Bonaparte (who my dad and I were named after), I was very impressed with how Bonaparte established his empire…well, except for Waterloo. I figured that if Bonaparte could make his mark on the world through his empire, then I could make my mark on the community and world through my empire – The Napoleon Empire.
What am I passionate about? My passions are business & leadership, community outreach, hip hop, public speaking, social media, and sports. I engage in my passions through blogging, community outreach, mentoring, organizational development, project management, public speaking, and social media marketing.
