My ACC 561 (Accounting) MBA class portfolio highlights a small business idea project called Wowzerz!, a proposed entertainment and restaurant venue in downtown Spartanburg, SC. In my small business idea project, I outlined the unique product or service as well as the formation of the organization, which included the advantages and disadvantages of the different business organization forms in addition to the different types of financial statements associated with each form of business organization. I ended the paper by choosing the best business organization formation for Wowzerz! based on the information presented.
I proposed Wowzerz! as a way to increase the number of diverse establishments in the downtown area of Spartanburg, SC that would be conducive for high school students, college students, and young professionals to hang out. What makes Wowzerz! stand out is that it would be a classier establishment than the options that are currently available.
